HOW IT ALL STARTED
As a young trainer, I was frustrated by the information overload on the internet and felt confused about where to turn to learn how to get better. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to have found great mentors who showed me the way and taught me how to become a coach.
I was introduced to the kettlebell in 2018 before my first strong first certification. I then trained with it every day until I received my level two SFG certification in 2019. In 2020, I bought a one-way ticket to Alexandria, VA to apprentice under my mentor Coach Darius.
I spent every day coaching his youth athletes, learning his concepts, and practicing myself. With very little equipment, we were seeing better results than in those with the fanciest, most equipped facilities. It turns out that results are found in simplicity. What works is doing a few things well and driving adaptation through them over time.
I created Kettlebell Coach University so that coaches who want an opportunity to grow have a community that supports them along their journey.
KBCU is built on what I’ve learned in over a decade of coaching others. It is the optimal way to train the human body and mind, to reach peak results. It’s portable, affordable, time efficient, and can be done anywhere, by anybody. I share my passion for kettlebells and athletic development, we train together, have group discussions, and laugh along the way.LEARN MORE
